Well! I PASSED!!! I Had my review this morning at 8am, and I passed wtith flying colors - or should I say S's. We're graded Satisfactory (S) or Unsatisfactory (U) in seven categories; the artists statement, skills and knowledge of physical structures, productivity of physical structures, visual evidence of visual structures, oral evidence of visual structures, visual evidence of social structures, and oral evidence of visual structures. I got a SATISFACTORY in all seven categories, from ALL five faculty memebers. It was amazing. Now I'm moving on to my senior show - and I never thought I would be in this position of my schooling.

Below is a photo of me with one of my pieces that made it into the President of the University's home. Each semester him and his wife hand pick a group of student work to hang in their house. A lot of big important people see this work, so its another opportunity to get my work seen.

 

This site was made to showcase specifically my Art Review works and statement. It was becoming apparent that there was interest in the work, however it was not convient to carry the large works around with me. On the left you can read my Artist's Statement which sums up why I did these works (the social meaning) and a bunch of other stuff I which was required for the paper. You will also be able to view the pieces, and download high resolution versions of each. I hope that by seeing the work that I put into each piece you will have a small understanding of me, and why I was so elusive this semester.
